Jonah
Go to the city of Nineveh and cry out
Against this city for its wickedness has come up to me
And Jonah rose up fleeing from the presence of the Lord
He went towards Tarshish
And inside the ship Jonah resisted my will
But the God who rules on earth, in heaven, and in the sea
Sent a great wind stirring the sea
A great storm formed, the ship was breaking apart
And the sailors each cried out to their gods
And threw their belongings into the sea, thinking the weight of the ship would lighten
And they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah
What people are you, who is your God, what occupation, where do you come from then
I am Hebrew! I fear God who made the sky, rules in the sky
Lives in the sky and also rules the sea
Get up, throw me into the sea and the sea will calm down
Get up, throw me into the sea and the sea will calm down
And they took Jonah and threw him into the sea
And the storm ceased
Everything happened for the glory of the Lord
And God himself made a great fish
Swallow Jonah, he spent three days and three nights
But the servant Jonah only prayed there
Saying the waves pass over me
Saying I am in the deep But you see me here
Saying in the heart of the seas I am
Saying but even here you hear me, Lord
And seeing the Lord's repentance, humiliation
He gave orders to the great fish then
I want my servant free, alive, alive for me
I will still use you
My will you will do, prepare yourself
It's no use going back
For I chose you, I will lift you up, empower you
I don't give up on you
I don't give up on you, I don't give up on you, I chose you
I don't give up on you, I don't give up on you, I chose you
I am your God
