Who believed
In love, in smiles, in flowers
Then dreamed, dreamed
And lost peace?
Love, smile, and flower
They change too quickly
Who, in the heart
Harbored the sadness of seeing
All of this being lost
And, in loneliness,
Sought a path and followed
Already disbelieving in a happy day?
Who cried, cried
So much that their tears have dried up...
Oh, oh, oh...
Who later returned
To love, to smiles, to flowers
Then found everything?
For, the very pain
Revealed the path of love
And the sadness ended
Who, in the heart
Harbored the sadness of seeing
All of this being lost
And, in loneliness,
Sought a path and followed
Already disbelieving in a happy day?
