It seems like a joke
a long time has passed

but we still insist on celebrating
our anniversary.

The same place
like so many years now
our little corner
where almost secretly
you held my hand.

Maybe love is no longer there

The fire will not go out

The May flowers
will wither and you will find
wrinkles around your eyes,
