MIEDO a DESPERTAR

FEAR of WAKING UP
In my dreams, I see the world go by
when I sleep, I’m scared to wake up
things always seem the same today
I see hate, blood, fire, and loneliness
and a world full of pain.
I see the blue sky at a red dawn
and a shadow crossing the air
on the ground, there’s a woman’s body
and on a child’s shoulder, a rifle
that fires off by accident.
We can reach the Sun
and stroll through the Moon
what good does that do me
if there’s no peace on Earth?
In my dreams, I see the world wake up
and through my window, I see the Sun
and in the wind, it smells like peace and freedom
in my dreams, there’s a world of love
that I can never understand.
We can reach the Sun
and stroll through the Moon
what good does that do me
if there’s no peace on Earth?
I see the blue sky at a red dawn
and a shadow crossing the air
on the ground, there’s a woman’s body
and on a child’s shoulder, a rifle
that fires off by accident.
We can reach the Sun
and stroll through the Moon
what good does that do me
if there’s no peace on Earth?
