Cuestion de Prioridades

A Matter of Priorities
That words, be slower than bullets
That ballads, are no longer for two
That your heartbeats, which used to belong to anyone
Now only sound for love
That the prisoner no longer poses with chains
That the long hair is not just rock and roll
That a coin never buys a feeling
Because if I regret something, it's having bought your love
And let the skirt be as short as you want
That the problem is with the one who looks and finds no explanation
I am more concerned about the children dying of hunger
But if you push me, I feel more sorry for their mothers
Forgive their rulers, it's my ignorance
I don't understand that in the year 2000
A thousand kilometers from here
They are dying of hunger
That the shrapnel turns into chocolate
To eat it or smoke it, what does it matter
That my child is of any gender
Has an iron health
And resembles their mother
And that life is not lost in the boats
That natural disasters are shared
That skinny dogs seem to be all fleas
I have never seen a tsunami ravage Fifth Avenue
That clothes are dirty or torn
They are almost never incompatible
With having a good heart
I am more concerned about the children dying of hunger
But if you push me, I feel more sorry for their mothers
Forgive their rulers, it's my ignorance
I don't understand that in the year 2000
A thousand kilometers from here
They are dying of hunger
They are dying of hunger!
And we don't feed them
We spend everything on tanks to defend ourselves
From what? From whom?
From your damn navels, mercenaries, arrogant ones
If they feel targeted, they are the damn murderers
You are killing them with hunger
