Angels Exist
I went out this morning
To try to survive
It's been a long time since I struggled to be happy
Suddenly between two stalls
At the market, I saw you
And it's in that very moment
That I understood
The ghosts and the fears
Don't let me see the sea
Because I have so much noise
In my mind that I forget
That in my boat I am the only captain
You awakened in my consciousness
I, who was a man of science
How could I imagine
That angels exist
You taught me that fears
Are excuses that feed
Laziness and pain
You taught me love
That to see the muses
You don't need to be a poet or a painter
You taught me that my boss
Couldn't live not even a second
More in my head
You taught me that the color
Of the suit that the days wear
Is always chosen by sorrow
If you don't seek joy
All that and much more
You taught me
While I was thinking
How to approach you
That guy out of nowhere appeared
I don't know what he said to you but
You started to smile
And I swear even my soul hurt
How is it possible that
A beautiful and sunny day
Suddenly a storm
Leaves everything destroyed?
And in my boat I am the only captain
You awakened in my consciousness
I, who was a man of science
How could I imagine
That angels exist
You taught me that fears
Are excuses that feed
Laziness and pain
You taught me love
That to see the muses
You don't need to be a poet or a painter
You taught me that my boss
Couldn't live not even a second
More in my head
You taught me that the color
Of the suit that the days wear
Is always chosen by sorrow
If you don't seek joy
All that and much more
You taught me
And I don't know what happened to me
I lost control
But I swear I thought
I was talking to myself
Suddenly I felt a blow
I fell to the ground collapsed
And the next thing I remember
Is seeing you
How can I be sure now
If this is heaven or earth?
I have an angel looking at me
In front of me
I would lie if I said
That life doesn't matter to me
But I can't live it
Not even a second more without you
