Dono da Vida
Melquênia Paula
Owner of Life
One day, Jesus was in the midst of a crowd
When a man named Jairus approached
And crying out loud, he prostrated himself
His only daughter, whom he loved, was sick and almost dying
Hopeless, waiting for the worst to happen, what to do now?
In the midst of agony, that man fills himself with faith
And starts to cry out, asking the master to enter his house
Raise your hands to heal my daughter
But news interrupts, saying to Jairus, your daughter has died
Do not bother the master, for she has already perished
And at that moment, calm and serene, Jesus replied
Do not fear, said the owner of life
Arriving at his house, he decreed, rise and walk, girl
When I step in, death must respect
When I arrive in the environment, the dead must rise
When I command, all evil must retreat
I give orders and make everything into nothing
When I enter the story, everything falls into place
Upon hearing my voice, the dead breathe again
There is nothing to stop me when I want to act
Outside of me, there is no other, and I am present here
I say to you today, it is not your end, you will not die
I am working and changing the scene
Today the walls will crumble, today the doors will open
The chains will shake, feel my glory invade this place
I am the owner of life
Worship me and I will give you victory
A new story in your family
I have surprises for your home
I have change, novelty, and grace
