Dreamer
Whistle in the darkness,
Restless animal;
Towers of vigilance,
Candle of the eyes.
I don't know what it could be,
If a curve of time
Or a hole in the attentive heart.
Wheat on the edge
For hunger to eat
And below the dangerous
Hole of blood.
I can't find, I can't see
More than the alert night
And the mystery behind
The doors.
Dreamer, rider without rest;
Dreamer, on a blank paper.
Dreamer, sentinel of my soul;
Dreamer, fall asleep and give me calm.
I carry each half
Like two twin rivers,
One crosses the earth,
The other flows in the sky;
The one of darkness
Does not know oblivion,
Unveiled in following
The lost.
Oh, this blue bull
Fatigued and thirsty
To run after nothing
Like light and wind!
I burn without asking
Just like fire does,
Maybe I'll find singing
The peace.
Dreamer, enigma of a penitent;
Dreamer, walking among the sleepers;
Dreamer, thorn of the stars;
Dreamer, forget about her.
Dreamer, rider without rest;
Dreamer, on a blank paper.
Dreamer, sentinel of my soul;
Dreamer, fall asleep and give me calm
