Poem 15
I like it when you're silent because you're as if absent
and you hear me from afar and my voice doesn't touch you,
it seems like your eyes have flown away
and it seems like a kiss closes your mo - uth.
I like it when you're silent and you're as if distant
and you're like a complaining butterfly in a lullaby,
and you hear me from afar and my voice doesn't reach you
let me be silent with your silence.
Let me also speak to you with your silence
clear as a simple lamp, simple as a ring,
you resemble the quiet and starry night
even your silence is the star so distant and si - mple.
I like it when you're silent because you're as if absent
distant and painful as if you had died,
then a word, a smile is enough
and I'm happy, happy that it's not true,
then a word, a smile is enough
and I'm happy, happy that it's not true.
