One day old loves
meet in lying but
sincere bars to ask how things are maybe
it's raining outside and so they stay there
thinking who knows where who knows
why it ended.
One day old loves tell each other
sweet age-old grudges and other
truths.
Who are we lost here like this
different from the heroes of our film
with irony and a bit of trouble in
this immense rhapsody
of our now.
But one day old loves
ask for more dreams and
desires of another youth
and leave families betray friends
they don't want advice
to be happy.
And when old loves
leave in bars they become songs
from long ago.
Who are we sitting here listening
to this life that doesn't go well.
