Desolación
Miguel Aceves Mejía
Desolation
I walk my path sown with thorns
sad memories that will not die,
I carry in my chest bleeding a wound
to your cruel falsehood that will kill me.
You swore to love me, pretended to want me,
and I loved you with adoration
one day you left my sad life
leaving sorrows and desolation.
Now alone in my nights,
when I dream of your love,
I see your traitorous image
and pain wakes me up.
And if someday you feel defeated,
and a feeling makes you cry,
come to my arms and heal the wound
that your sorrows I will know how to console.
