The sky of Chihuahua, bore witness
To the kiss you gave me and I gave you
The moon of Parrar shone that night
Like no moon has shone for me
Your eyes and my eyes met
With infinite longing to adore
Your lips and my lips met
In the face of forbidden love within good and evil
The sky of Chihuahua was divine
There were truly thousands of stars
Your eyes and the moon illuminated me
