The Christmas Star
A star fell from the sky,
On the holy night of Christmas.
And to the wind that hangs,
Shining bright over a stable.
The little shepherds followed
That star's great glow.
And there in a stable
Were Joseph, Mary, and the baby God.
And the three wise men
Watched it shine.
And their lovely gifts
Would soon be offered.

And in my soul it left the mark
Deep and noble of the truth.
The night dressed in splendor
And there's a party in the blue sky.
For all the good things
That the king Jesus brought then.
