I shuddered, almost died
When I received your beautiful letter
Which with so much love, made a plea
That you miss my love greatly

I am reflecting and also feeling
And you smiled as you said goodbye
But true love doesn't know how to avenge
Sometimes it comes off as a coward
In giving shelter to those who betrayed you

You can come back to my arms whenever you want
Let them say that I am a man without morals
Let the world contradict my intent
What cannot happen is our love to have an end
