My brother, you will depart
You will leave here, the church of the Lord
That one day in this life
It was built by you
With much love
The work was growing
And souls were converting, in this beloved church
Many times you cried
And also rejoiced, for the converted souls
You are leaving
To preach the gospel, in another city
To win many souls, for eternity
To do the work, of a good Christian
My wish is for you to be happy, on this journey

It was with great effort of yours
That the work grew like this
For the glory of Jesus
Many souls that were blind
Have come out of the darkness
Now they live in full light
Your work for the Lord
Working with love

God is just and faithful
And there in the kingdom of heaven
You will have your reward
