Psalm 4
Upon us, let the splendor of your face shine!
When I call, answer me, O my God, my righteousness!
You, who knew how to relieve me in times of affliction
Listen to me out of pity and hear my prayer!
Understand that our God works wonders for his servant
And that the Lord will hear me when I make my plea!
Many wonder: Who gives us happiness?
Upon us, let the splendor of your face shine!
I will lie down in peace and soon fall asleep
For only you, O Lord God, give security to my life!
