When the sound of God's trumpet plays
My ears attentive will be here
To go in the air to meet the groom

And my dead brothers will resurrect
To go to glory and worship
Together we go to the groom's meeting

There I will have new bodies, new celestial garments
And I will receive from my groom a trophy like no other

I will walk on the dreamed streets of gold and crystals
When I enter the celestial gates
Then I will dwell in the groom's city
I will live forever close to Christ Jesus
A God who became flesh and died on a cross
Soon I will rise to meet the groom

I will see the dear face of the Lord and king
The one I sought so much on earth
When I enter the groom's city
