Paris En Colère
Mireille Mathieu
Angry Paris
When freedom is touched
And Paris gets angry
And Paris starts to growl
And the next day, it's war
Paris wakes up
And it opens its prisons
Paris has a fever
It treats it in its own way
You have to see the cobblestones jump
When Paris gets angry
You have to see those rusty guns
Winking from the windows
On the barricades
That spring up in the streets
Each with their grenade
Their knife or bare hands
Life, death no longer matter
We've won, we've lost
But we can show up up there
A flower in our hat
We want to be free
At any cost
We want to live, live, live
Live free in Paris
Watch out, it always goes far
When Paris gets angry
When Paris sounds the alarm
It's heard at the end of the earth
And the world trembles
When Paris is in danger
And the world sings
When Paris is liberated
It's a celebration of freedom
And Paris is no longer angry
And Paris can go dance
It has found the light
After the storm
After the fear and the cold
Paris is celebrating
And Paris cries with joy
