A Conquista

The Conquest
First lap, not a tremor
Not a sign, nothing changes
It seems to be an absurd promise
Of a gigantic wall coming down
The next day another lap
But nothing was heard
For seven days this scene repeated
But the promise burned in their hearts
Six laps for six days
Is the order of the Lord Jehovah
On the seventh day, seven more times around
Seven priests will carry seven trumpets
Prepare your breath
For when the trumpet sound echoes
With great force, all the people will shout
And no ruins will remain of this wall
Seventh day and there was all the people circling
Maybe, who knows, already tired of walking
But they listened out of obedience and faith
And in the end when the trumpet sound echoed
With great force all the people shouted there
And the wall couldn't remain standing
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Shout, shout
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Shout, shout
There's no wall that resists when the people obey
It can be big, it can be strong but it will fall
And it won't need a bomb to make it crumble
Just obey because it's God who will act
Obey church, the wall will fall
Obey church, the wall will fall
Obey, obey
Obey church, the wall will fall
Obey church, the wall will fall
Obey, obey
Seventh day and there was all the people circling
Maybe, who knows, already tired of walking
But they listened out of obedience and faith
And in the end when the trumpet sound echoed
With great force all the people shouted there
And the wall couldn't remain standing
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Shout, shout
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Israel shouts that the wall will fall
Shout, shout
There's no wall that resists when the people obey
It can be big, it can be strong but it will fall
And it won't need a bomb to make it crumble
Just obey because it's God who will act
He will act
He will act
He will act
