I had tried everything but always failed
I remember smashing my face against the pavement more than once
I had tried the night, I had tried Fernet
I had tried calling you and calling my ex

I also tried drugs, narcotics
I tried yoga and crazy therapies
I tried tarot and astrologers, hung out with people
I tried the tour and put it on my forehead

And that's how I came out of the darkness
The day the witch threw me that step
I no longer fear failure
I live life, mommy, I don't drown in a glass

Because the step removes bad luck
If I'm going crazy, it unplugs me
It warms me up if the heater fails
I throw the step if the cops stop me
