The Devil
In the forest a priest
and a planter of trees
after forty years and ten of prison
a man was pulled from the mud
and all the tears that could be useful
to tell that man to breathe
who could live two hundred more years
once free from suspicion
He came and they could bring
far from the words of truth
that everyone knew that man was
a devil only for the Germans
And if someone from the village
will still be silent about this story
tell it well to your grandchildren
the story of the devil commander
a man who was caught by the shots of an ether
because he didn't want to be a spy
there are those who lost him in their hearts
but never the courage of the partisan
He came and they could bring
far from the words of truth
that everyone knew that man was
a devil only for the Germans
