Canto Em Qualquer Canto
Monica Salmaso
Sing Anywhere
I came to sing about this land
First of all, I warn
I bring a machete, raw passion
And good rocks in the file
Some people go crazy and scream
I just sing, chirp, and whistle
If this street were mine
The ipe tree would be alive
To the top of that mountain
Let's go, the two of us, video and books
I'll stay in mine and yours
This is more than enough reason
I'll warble through the land
To give and have relief
Warbling, I get naked
Between crying and laughter
Goldfinch, dove, blackbird
Eagle from paradise
Little bird, daydreamer
When I don't sing, I'm no good
In case the beauty with the beast
I sing because it's necessary
Because this life is tough
To not lose my mind
