I will remember, merciful Jesus
That I am the reason for your journey
Do not lose me on that day
Seeking me, you sat down tired
You redeemed me, suffering on the cross
May such great effort not be in vain
Just judge of vengeance
Grant me the gift of remission
Before the day of reckoning
I groan as one guilty
My face blushes with guilt
