Domine Jesu Christe

Lord Jesus Christ, King of glory
Free the souls of all the faithful departed
From the pains of hell and the deep lake
Free them from the mouth of the lion
Lest Tartarus engulf them, lest they fall into darkness
But may the holy standard-bearer Michael lead them into the holy light
Which you once promised to Abraham and his seed
