Pasacalles
Murga Bambones
Street Serenade
As a child, I already had clear what my life would be
On my face, I painted a clown to make people laugh
The hallway, in my house, the stage of my fantasies
An invented lyric was enough to make me happy
In the streets, I looked for a street band that would captivate me
The sound of a bass drum and cymbals, a trail to follow
A script of street bands was the book I studied the most
Someday my dream could come true
And so life put in my hands
Some lyrics and a bit of voice
And today I feel happy in my street band and in this song
My life to be a bambon
And although years passed and I matured through struggles
Each year, fewer are the dreams that make me live
Still in life, something keeps me excited
My hobby, carnival, and my street band singing to you
And so life put in my hands
Some lyrics and a bit of voice
And today I feel happy in my street band and in this song
My life to be a bambon
My life to be a bambon
Bambones is my illusion
And keep on forever being a bambon
A bambon!
