Um Plebeu Na Cidade
Musical JM
A Commoner in the City
When I walked by hand
In old pants and a big car, she supported me
When I was at my worst
In a pitiful situation, she encouraged me
No one believed
It was only her who trusted and bet on me
And little by little I was working
Time passing and everything improved
Today I am no longer poor
I am a noble young man, God blessed me
I'm fine, I'm idle, I'm traveling around
I have a house, a new car, I'm in love, I'm happy
I buy jewelry, I give her everything she wants
What would become of this man if it weren't for this woman
I was a commoner in the city
But with determination and a lot of humility, I never gave up
I remember the difficult moments
When she looked at me and said
You will succeed
When no one believed
It was only her who trusted and bet on me
And little by little I was working
Time passing and everything improved
Today I am no longer poor
I am a noble young man, God blessed me
I'm fine, I'm idle, I'm traveling around
I have a house, a new car, I'm in love, I'm happy
I buy jewelry, I give her everything she wants
What would become of this man if it weren't for this woman
