Me Encontro Jesús

I wandered lost in a senseless world
Prisoner of destiny with death on the way
Among shadows I sought what is certain in the uncertain
And my soul burdened with sin was a slave

I listened to sermons without true words
From people who take piety as wealth
I saw no one who could light up my darkness

And seeking the light, Jesus found me

And I looked at Calvary and realized that on the cross
He gave his life to offer me the light
I no longer closed my eyes to such a great reality
Jesus is the way and the truth

If you want to be saved, come and give your life to Jesus
The author of life, hope, and light
The king of the universe humbled himself for us, for us

And today he is waiting for you to give him your heart

Fight like athletes to reach the goal
Like gladiators amidst blows and pains
Continue like brave ones even if we are unconscious
Because for the cowards, hell is burning

Tender words broke into my story
And today I have them written all the time in my memory
The invisible things of God, His power and eternal deity
Were made visible to save humanity
