Si El Llanto Fuera Lluvia

If Tears Were Rain
If tears were rain
when a love dies.
If tears were rain
when the pain weighs heavy.
Across the whole earth,
during thirty nights,
bitter tears
would bring down the towers.
If tears were rain
when a child dies.
If tears were rain
when the cruel laugh.
Across the whole earth
a gray and icy river,
of bitter tears,
would sweep away the past.
If tears were rain
when the pure ones die.
If tears were rain
when they fall against the wall.
Across the earth
there would be
an endless deluge,
with bitter tears,
of judges and guilty ones.
If tears were rain
every time death,
wielding its swords,
shatters fate.
Across the whole earth
there would be nothing else
but bitter tears
of mourning and fate.
