Niño No Nacido
Nacho Cano
Unborn Child
We spent the day playing in the sun,
connecting feelings and smiles,
turning time into sweet love soma.
We lived for each other to become angels,
adoring each other to the point of death
and crying out of devotion.
No one told us that after pleasure,
comes the beginning of pain
And we conceived a little human-like,
who didn't want to breathe and was born to leave,
for every name we thought of
a tombstone became a wall between us.
In all the light of your reason,
divine will seemed unfair,
and you still don't forgive God.
And misfortune took over your eyes,
extinguishing hope and
illusion with womanly sobs.
When the end was near,
an unexpected event occurred,
And it was at night, between dreams,
a little human-like appeared
and whispered in your ear:
dear parents, you gave me so much love,
that I went straight to heaven.
