De Las Ruinas El DOLOR
Nacho Cano
From the Ruins, the PAIN
The sickle and hammer of hatred fell,
igniting the contained rage in the nation.
With flags and races, the show was set,
for the strong who seize the opportunity.
We stood with arms crossed
they moved on to gunfire
they sowed the fields with the dead,
And today, the smell of the graves
the resentment of the ruins
and the pain of men.
For the life that was lost,
for the girl who lost her shame by force.
They walked on eggshells to avoid talking about peace
Europe never knew how to solve.
Only an eye for an eye stopped the aggression,
some only understand it that way.
We stood with arms crossed
they moved on to gunfire
they sowed the fields with the dead,
And today, the smell of the graves
the resentment of the ruins
and the pain of men.
For the life that was lost,
for the girl who lost her shame by force.
