Thousands of wise men have said it before and others will repeat it,
There's a desire that we all have,
To feel loved and to love,
In this absurd world, no one has been able to explain,
Today the elders give their advice that you hear before forgetting.
My father said to whoever wants to collect my debts, you must take them to the beach
And have them write in the sand what is owed to the kid,
Tell them to wait for the tide to account for what's written here,
