La Plaza De Lá Soledá
Nacho Vegas
The Plaza of Solitude
As you arrive at the port, you climb through the fisherman's neighborhood. Leaving dirty waters under the sun to your left. And above your head, seagulls screech, circling, they will guide you. Just keep going a little further, and maybe you'll hear me sing:
Who stole the sun from me today
that I don't feel its warmth
and the clothes that covered my skin
have turned into nakedness?
If you hear this, you are close to the Plaza of Solitude.
You'll see an old man who will give you some directions. Don't pay attention to him; that would be a serious mistake. And above your head, seagulls keep circling, guiding you. Cross the alley. Can't you hear my voice?
Who stole the sun from me today
that I don't feel its warmth
and the clothes that covered my skin
have turned into nakedness?
When you hear this, you will have arrived at the Plaza of Solitude.
