Ventanas de Avión
Natalia Lacunza
Airplane Windows
Right in the center
You arrived, like an anticyclone
Right in the center
You shot, I lost my mind
You weave a spider web
Burning my insides
Reaching that corner
I see jumping from my eyelashes
All those eye boogers
Of airplane window dreams
I run without looking into an existential void
I feel the salt embedding in my wounds
I fall headfirst
I know I'm going to get soaked and I can't swim
Lost in this sea
Tears
Of acid rain
Smiles of cellophane paper
My skin is lit
In fireproof flames
That no one will ever see
I don't know if I want to escape
Or instead let myself be caught
By this darkness
Melt in the icy embrace
Of the invisible cage
Of this apparent reality
I run without looking into an existential void
I feel the salt embedding in my wounds
I fall headfirst
I know I'm going to get soaked and I can't swim
Lost in this sea
I run without looking into an existential void
I feel the salt embedding in my wounds
I fall headfirst
I know I'm going to get soaked and I can't swim
Lost in this sea
Lost in this sea
