Un Derecho de Nacimiento
Natalia Lafourcade
A Birthright
I'm creating a hymn to be able to exist
To move the earth for men y survive
To heal my heart and let my mind flow
To elevate my soul and allow it to reach an end
I wasn't born
Without reason
I wasn't born
Without faith
My heart beats hard
To yell for those who do not feel
And pursue happiness
I'm creating a hymn for respect of the sky
To disrupt the roots of the field and make it sprout
To move the waters and green poison over there
To elevate the soul and let it live in peace
I wasn't born
Without cause
I wasn't born
Without faith
My heart beats hard
To yell at those who lie to us
And pursue happiness
And pursue happiness
It's a birthright
It's the engine of our movement
Because I claim freedom of thought
If I don't it is because I am dying
It's a birthright
To see what dreams inspire
In one voice and feeling
That this scream sweeps through the wind
I creating a hymn to demand
That they don't take from the poor what cost them so much to build
That stolen gold not crush our future
And for those who have extra to not find it hard to share
I'm elevating my voice to wake them up
Those who walk through life asleep without wanting to look
So the river doesn't flow with blood, but takes with it flowers to heal the ocean
To elevate the soul and let it live in peace
I wasn't born
Without cause
I wasn't born
Without faith
My heart beats hard
To yell at those who do not feel
And pursue happiness
It's a birthright
It's the engine of our movement
Because I claim freedom of thought
If I don't ask for it, it is because I am dying
It's a birthright
To see what dreams inspire
In one voice and feeling
That this scream sweeps through the wind
It's a birthright
It's the engine of our movement
Because I claim freedom of thought
If I don't ask for it, it is because I am dying
It's a birthright
To see what dreams inspire
In one voice and feeling
That this scream sweeps through the wind
