Quando Eu Me Chamar Saudade
Nelson Cavaquinho
When I Call Myself Longing
I know that tomorrow, when I die
My friends will say
That I had a good heart
Some will even cry
And want to pay tribute to me
Turning a guitar into gold
But after time passes
I know no one will remember
That I left
That's why I think this way
If someone wants to do something for me
Do it now
Give me flowers in life
Affection, a helping hand
To ease my sorrows
Then, when I call myself longing
I don't need vanity
I want prayers and nothing more
