No Me Quiero Morir
Nena Daconte
I Don't Want to Die
The world no longer spins, and let them tell me
in the same direction.
People no longer say what they think
and in the middle, it's you and me.
We walk through life
without wanting to look back
dreaming and with just what we have, one can live,
we need little more.
I don't want to die
thinking that once again
freedom slipped away from me.
Thinking that, also,
I have made a mistake again.
Under such a vast sky
I don't want to die,
thinking that maybe loneliness stayed with us
dancing, dancing...
After each day, the nights come with you,
but one day they won't come.
The money I've earned with my time
that won't change anything.
And no matter how much I search, I don't see
that there is something more afterwards.
Just being grateful for wandering aimlessly
makes me want to scream.
I don't want to die
thinking that once again
freedom slipped away from me.
Thinking that, also,
I have made a mistake again.
Under such a vast sky
I don't want to die,
thinking that maybe loneliness stayed with us
dancing, dancing...
