The Last Drink
Take this bottle with me
and on the last drink we go,
I want to see what your forgetfulness tastes like
without putting your hands on my eyes.
Tonight I'm not going to beg you,
tonight you're really leaving,
how hard it is to have to leave you,
without thinking that you no longer love me.
The years have not taught me anything
I always fall into the same mistakes
again to toast with strangers
to cry for the same pains.
Take this bottle with me
and on the last drink you kiss me,
let's hope there are no witnesses,
just in case you feel embarrassed.
If one day we accidentally bump into each other
don't bend down or talk to me directly,
we simply shake hands
and then let people gossip.
