Esperando Nada

Waiting for Nothing
I'm going to reveal a story
that is sometimes a lie and other times, not true
I sat waiting for the arrival
of luck, it couldn't be late
and so much time passed that I started to see shadows
in color
and so many people passed by
that no one saw me
I would wait standing that at nightfall
it would merge with the afternoon and the dawn
like a gale at my step, the pieces of a burnt paper
stir
and it grew by my side like a tree
a whole illusion
and it grew by its side monstrous a whole
obsession
In the middle of the night around three
something approaches and does not show itself
open my door I want to enter and exit
and refresh before repeating
I live on the street, a student apprentice
with books that I never saw in school
open my door I want to enter and exit
and refresh before repeating
I would get lost standing
that feeling of encountering
things for the second time
The opportunity to search in the drawers
for a memory to love
and so many people passed by
that no one saw me
