Destino de Peão
Noel Guarany
Cowboy's Destiny
Today is Sunday and I saddled up my horse
I've put on cologne, I'm almost ready
I leave quietly in my simple attire
Because that's how a gaucho goes to see his girlfriend
I worked the whole month, saddled many horses
Fixed all the fences, back in the far pasture
I deeply felt the symphony of the animals
To sweeten the deal, with the most beautiful flower in the world
I wanted so much to give a gift to the girl
A head of cattle, a farm, and a bunch of other things
To say words that I know and think in secret
And that just by thinking about them I'm afraid, that's why I can't
I even thought about building a little ranch
Even if it's small, I've lived a lot in the barn
If she wanted, how beautiful it would be
I would thank God for my cowboy's destiny
