I'm gonna launch my raft on the river

Tomorrow I’m heading out to Uruguaiana
I’ll take my raft with cedar, angico, and canjerana
When I get to São Borja, I’ll hop over to Santo Tomé
To see the Correntina girls and dance a chamamé

When I reach Salto Grande, I’ll say goodbye to this world
I’ll pray to God and Saint Michael and let the raft go down deep
