My Path
Everyone takes pride in where they were born
It's the drive that makes me embrace my region
That's why I feel inspired, on this foundation, to pay tribute
We don't have many resources
But our determination pushes us forward
It's the biggest factor in making dreams come true
Because if you're the one in charge of your actions
You'll change the disdain of living in Antioquia
We don't have many resources
But our determination pushes us forward
It's the biggest factor in making dreams come true
Because if you're the one in charge of your actions
You'll change the disdain of living in Antioquia
My path, I won't even tell you where it is
But I assure you it's far from the town's resources
That's why we make use of what nature provides
Rural resources for nutritious food
Because the formal ones aren't well acquired
And they're harmful to living beings
Called Santa Maria, but forgotten by the city hall
Is it because of the distance? Or is there no economic resources?
Here we fight to move forward, not to be left behind
Stuck in what we see. So together let's change
The needs that drain us because if we face them
They'll fade away until they're gone
We need to pay close attention to past actions
If we want the future to be better
Today we learn from our mistakes
And we fight from now on so that the best doesn't take long
We, as residents, have needs
But they're not materialized, the basics can't
Be paid for, they're granted by nature
And the work with skill
We don't have many resources
But our determination pushes us forward
It's the biggest factor in making dreams come true
Because if you're the one in charge of your actions
You'll change the disdain of living in Antioquia
We don't have many resources
But our determination pushes us forward
It's the biggest factor in making dreams come true
Because if you're the one in charge of your actions
You'll change the disdain of living in Antioquia
A small path in a big nation
Here, as long as I can, I welcome you with all my heart
Even if there's only enough for one
But we all fit on the mattress
Because poverty is worth less than intention
If work dignifies a person
Why do those who think they're worthy for not working
Look down on the worker?
They haven't been down there working on the hills
Like pilgrims earning their pay
With more than just sweat
A region considered a red zone
And since it's alone, it looks greener
The people they consider lazy here
Are always the strongest
We don't have many resources
But our determination pushes us forward
It's the biggest factor in making dreams come true
Because if you're the one in charge of your actions
You'll change the disdain of living in Antioquia
A small path in a big nation
Here, as long as I can, I welcome you with all my heart
Even if there's only enough for one
But we all fit on the mattress
Because poverty is worth less than intention.
