Vitória Em Cristo

I heard the beautiful story
That Jesus came down from glory
And at Golgotha finally died
For how many like me
I heard His groans
Of His blood and the redeemed
And in the end, contrite I prostrated myself
Victory I found in Him

Victory in Christ, eternal victory!
He sought me, saved me, died on the cross for me
What peace and joy! A new day dawned!
Victory Jesus gave me, in the blood He shed!

I heard that He heals
Yes, to all who seek Him
He made the lame walk, then
And gave sight to the blind
I prayed, I cried out: My Master
Come, restore my life
And soon Christ answered me
And gave me victory
