You are Lord to me, joy and refuge

Happy is the man who has been forgiven
And whose fault has been covered!
Happy is the man whom the Lord
No longer sees as guilty
And in whose soul there is no deceit!

You are Lord to me, joy and refuge

I confessed, at last, my sin
And my fault I made known to you
I said: I will confess my sin!
And you forgave, Lord, my fault

You are Lord to me, joy and refuge

Rejoice, O righteous, in God
And in the Lord, exult with joy!
Upright hearts, sing jubilantly!
