Salmo 49 - a Todos Que Procedem Retamente, Eu Mostrarei a Salvação Que Vem de Deus

To all who act uprightly
I will show the salvation that comes from God

I do not come to censure your sacrifices
For your burnt offerings are always before me
I do not need the bulls from your house
Nor the rams in your flocks

How dare you recite my precepts
And bring my covenant in your mouth?
You who hate my laws and my counsel
And turn your back on the words of my lips!

In view of what you have done, shall I keep silent?
Do you think I am like you?
It is for this that I accuse and reprimand you
And I make these things known to your eyes

Whoever offers me a sacrifice of praise
This is the one who truly honors me
To every man who acts uprightly
I will show the salvation that comes from God
