Vencendo Vem Jesus

The eternal glory already shines
Of Jesus, the King of kings;
Soon the kingdoms of this world
Will follow His laws!
The signs of His coming
Are increasingly evident:
Jesus is coming victorious!

Glory, glory! Hallelujah!
Jesus is coming victorious!

The trumpet that calls the believers
To battle has already sounded;
Christ leading His people,
Has already conquered multitudes.
The enemy, in retreat,
Has shown his fury:
Jesus is coming victorious!

Behold, in resplendent glory
He will descend upon the clouds,
And the nations and the kings of the earth
He will rule with power.
Yes, in peace and holiness
He will govern the whole earth:
Jesus is coming victorious!

And, finally, enthroned,
He will judge the nations;
All, great and small,
Will face the Judge;
And the redeemed, triumphant,
Will sing in splendor:
Jesus has conquered!
