La Cuestión

The Issue
It's not a matter of tearing down the walls
Reupholstering the empty chair, emptying the closet
It's not a matter of losing control
Nor breaking that picture, nor burning the diary
It's not a matter of crossing the street
Nor looking away, nor seeking revenge on the world
It's not a matter of burying oneself in the sand
Nor exhausting the memory, nor putting up a shield
I don't think it's a matter of crashing
Against the wall that memory is building
I don't think it's a matter of stopping
To wait for life to solve this issue
It's not a matter of whitewashing the facade
Nor erasing the footprints, nor a matter of winning
It's not a matter of throwing in each other's faces
The pending reproaches, nor who said what
Nor thinking about what could have been
If the end of this story hadn't arrived
Nor taking away or adding to the past
What we were adding up, what we were losing
I don't think it's a matter of crashing
Against the wall that memory is building
I don't think it's a matter of stopping
To wait for life to solve this issue
It's a matter of keep walking
It's a matter of wanting and being able
It's a matter of knowing how to get up
It's a matter of standing up
Nor thinking about what could have been
If the end of this story hadn't arrived
Nor taking away or adding to the past
What we were adding up, what we were losing
I don't think it's a matter of crashing
Against the wall that memory is building
I don't think it's a matter of stopping
To wait for life to solve this issue
I don't think it's a matter of crashing
Against the wall that memory is building
I don't think it's a matter of stopping
To wait for life to solve this issue
It's a matter of keep walking
Wanting and being able
It's a matter of knowing how to get up
It's a matter of standing up
It's a matter of keep walking
Wanting and being able
It's a matter of knowing how to get up
It's a matter of standing up.
