In prayer I tread the path that Jesus opened
To the throne where his grace flows like a river

Angels sing: Holy

And by faith I walk until I see the author of my faith
And what can I offer to honor who he is?

And as I depart, I turn, I am unworthy
But his voice tells me: Do not go, my child!

Turn my suffering into testimony
Empty me of myself and of this world
And may my name die with my body
And may Christ's name remain in everything

Give me what I need and not a bit more
Give me possessions I can immediately abandon
