Ugly Hill Party
One day this week I was stopping rodeo
When a rider arrived, riding a red colt
Good afternoon he said I'm in a hurry and don't stop
I came to pick you up for a party at Ugly Hill farm
I'm a determined gaucho and I'm not very shy
I released the black horse, took the rosy pony
With the harmonica in the saddle I already left mounted
When we arrived at the party the sun had just risen
When I arrived at the party I cheered and stopped
They released my horse, I took off the harmonica myself
I ran my fingers on the keyboard, played a flourish on the bass
To show it was me, I opened my chest and sang
I only stopped playing when the day broke
A girl called me to say what she felt
I saw her eyes full of tears, her heart beating strong
And to this day I still remember everything she said
Singing I said goodbye, I mounted my rosy
I left cutting through the hills, I returned to my ranch
Goodbye beautiful gaucho girl if I return here I don't know
I will never forget the Ugly Hill party
