No Me Digan Cobarde
Oscar Agudelo
Don't Call Me Coward
I dedicated my whole being to that beloved
And poured all my energy into her love
But one night, without meaning to, I came face to face
With another mouth kissing her passionately
And I swear to you, I don’t know what was happening
In that moment of killing, I lost my nerve
That being whom I idolized so much
Forever got lost in the mud
So don’t cry, don’t call me a coward
Sometimes men lose their minds
When we see that the last hope
Is lost forever, it bleeds our hearts
And if the story of my love were to end
That damn one who consigned me to pain
Today anyone can kiss her for pleasure
But everyone can, except for me
And if my story went to the point of searching for her
But after that scoundrel mocked her
And in an instant, not wanting to see, I turned my face
Another kiss was the answer to my pain
So don’t cry, don’t call me a coward
Sometimes men lose their minds
When we see the one we idolize
In the arms of another lover, our hearts shrink.
