Gaztelugatxe

Gaztelugatxe
Around sixty years
It happened on the coast,
An old sailor
At least that's what he told me,
In Gaztelugatxe there was
A beautiful boat wreck,
For the Basques inside
The big waves brought treasures.
One summer morning
With the first rays of the sun
I walked through the sea
Making my heart beat,
I plunged into the clear waters
I carefully observed the rocks,
There was a hidden treasure
Covered by seaweed.
With all my strength
I opened the big chest,
I turned back
A big wave rose,
To not crush the desire
Of not being crushed,
This is our pride
The source of all treasures.
And if it hadn't been like this
I would have entered the cave,
Telling funny stories
In the square.
